training..

so i had my first training today for this new job im starting.. its on campus, at the student rec center.. what student position could possibly require 3 days of training?! well apparantly, mine. i drove down to rivaside last nite, had training at the cracka dawn this mornin, was going to turn around and drive back up to mtown tonite, but everybody was yelling at me *(its not safe for u to drive at nite by yourself... etc...)* so i gave in and decided to jus stay til the morning.. its such a nicer drive at nite tho.. no traffic, no heat, no ugly desserts and fields for miles and miles.. but, oh well..
anywho, back to training.. so, my title is "steward." steward wasnt the positon i applied for, however, i am told it is the most sought after on-campus job.. we'll see about that.. basically, my job will be to do rounds of the rec center, do head counts, enforce policies, lock the 5 million doors in the building, set up equiptment, work basketball n volleyball games, as well as concerts.. seems ok..... im looking forward to the social payoffs.. i get first dibs on all the cute boys that come thru the rec to work out n play ball-- woo hooooo!! hehehe... nah, i did meet this chick already tho who invited me to go party with them once a week and to come along on spontaneous trips to vegas! lol!

BAD NEWS OF THE DAY: shifts begin Monday, the 20th. (skool doesnt start til thursday and yours truly didnt plan on coming back to riva until wednesday.. this could be problematic, especially since that inbetween weekend is my bday... grrrrrrr!!)

anywho..... i do plan on sleeping at some point soon.. dont wanna leave too late tomorrow.. gonna go to seasides football game.. they play coach diaz n aj's team... my cuzn asked if id join him, and besides, who can turn down a seaside football game? hehehe.... GO SPARTANS! lol!
